Formerly known as the Sacramento Valley Domestic Violence & Strangulation Summit, this is a multi-disciplinary, two-day training, with an optional one-day pre-conference that offers general session and specialized breakouts for prosecutors, law enforcement officers, physicians, nurses, victim advocates, social workers/therapists, fire fighters, paramedics/EMTs, and 911 dispatchers. CDAA has partnered with the Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention, the Sacramento Family Justice Center, the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office, WEAVE, and the Gabby Petito Foundation to offer this fantastic training opportunity.
